Sharon Mills MA CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Clinical Supervision (Restarting in 2026)

Therapy

There are many aims of therapy depending on your needs and it's tailor made to fit your goals.

Therapy can be combined with many modalities to aid the process -using creativity & mindfulness can help to deepen the reconnection to yourself & the process. This mix can be very powerful & yet gentle & long lasting.

I practiced for over 27 years before suffering a major health problem which was life changing. After a 2 years break & many operations, I return to help others with a deeper experience & learning. I found creativity & having a particular space to reconnect to myself a very powerful part of my healing process.

About Sharon

She has a Master`s degree in CBT & post graduate degree for clinical supervision, as well as many certificate levels in other modalities.

Since 1998, I have mostly worked with individuals & young people. I started working with couples in 2016 & some groups in between over the years. I now use creativity, CBT & connection with the self in a gentle & powerful way to heal, grow & change.

I’ve had my own meditation practice since 1993 & I`m passionate about living from the best of ourself - after a difficult childhood, or events, or people that shaped us, or abuse, it can be hard to live freely & easy to revert back to negativity, or past programming. If you're ready to rediscover, heal & make change, then I'd like to support you on your journey.

Creating the change we want

The understanding of trauma Biology is now becoming more recognised & working through how you internalised past events can help release the chains that hold you back, the circles we get stuck in, or the overthinking patterns & much more.

Understanding how difficult life experiences can affect the mind & body, & cause blocks & personality characteristics, is important to be able to release the grip & it's impact it can have.

It takes more courage to face your problems than it does to ignore them. Together we work through all that blocks you, holds you back & then make the changes you want. We will go through a process of seeing more clearly (awareness), learning what holds you back, then connecting to the parts that have been hidden, or blocked. After the therapy, practice & consolidating the change is important, reflecting & staying in alignment with yourself are important.

Contact me to discuss your needs, to decide if this is the best place for you to work through your problems. From understanding, comes new opportunities to learn & practice new skills, then you see from different angles, & create new choices.
